Clients reviews about Lawn Doctor of North Austin-Wells Branch-Pflugerville-Manor-Taylor

Richard at Lawn Doctor has taken great care of my lawn in Austin, and at a great price. I went from a third of an acre full of weeds to a beautiful green lawn in a single season. He takes the time to actually diagnose your lawn's specific problems, soil, weed pressure, and what your grass type needs, then treats accordingly instead of running the same blanket program on every yard like the big lawn care companies do. The value is hard to overstate. Resodding a yard this size would have cost me something like ten times what Richard charged, and he fixed it with treatment instead. Richard owns the business and does the work himself, so you're talking directly to the person treating your lawn. You will not get this quality of care or communication from any of the bigger lawn services in Austin. If you need weed control and fertilization in the Austin area, call him ~ Graham E

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Richard. After investing in sod, we were so discouraged that our grass was both dying and being taken over by weeds, even after doing everything the landscaper had prescribed. We tried multiple lawn treatment services, all of which had us spend more money on various treatments that only made things worse. When I finally reached out to Richard, we were ready to throw in the towel, as our lawn had turned into a money pit. Richard tested our soil and figured out the root cause of the issues. He then walked us through the treatments he recommended and why he thought each one would help. He truly worked magic on our lawn and we can't believe it's the same yard that we had before finding him. Richard is thoughtful, very knowledgeable and affordable in his approach and we are so grateful for his help! ~ Maggie B

Was getting quotes and most firms won’t even come out to property. Discovered all the software they use shows my property as the one next door (larger property). Filled out Lawn Doctor info and a HUMAN called me back. Confirmed mapping issue but also agreed to come out. Richard is SUPER-he really had the homeowner’s best interest in mind. He had spoken with me, educating and making actually helpful suggestions. First visit he went above and beyond to start whipping my lawn back into shape…. Lawn Doctor Richard is the bestest eva!!!! ~ Helen E

Richard and his Lawn Doctor team is very best in the lawn service in town for my home needs… I’ve been with Richard and team for several months now and they are not only affordable, but extremely effective. Their Customer Service is phenomenal and they provide many different options for all kinds of budgets and needs. If you haven’t already, and are looking for someone to help green up your lawn while killing weeds, Richard with his lawn doctor team is all you will need; before and after pictures say more than just words..!! 😀 ~ Sunil A

This time last year, my there were more weeds than grass in my lawn. This year, the weeds didn't come back! This is a great affordable service. I wanted to maintain a nice lawn but I didn't want to have to obsess over it and and become a lawn expert to ensure that I'm giving it all the right treatments at the right time of year. Richard takes care of all that. He comes by for lawn treatments 5 or 6 times a year, texts me in advance and then afterwards with follow-up instructions. Good, professional and courteous service! ~ Pete G

I moved to a new house in Carillon, Manor last year and was looking for someone to take care of our lawn. Saw the advertisement for Lawn Doctor and called them after going through the excellent reviews. Richard is a thorough professional and knows his stuff well. Top class mannerisms, very patient and extremely helpful. After a couple of treatments last year and early this year, my lawn is one of the only houses with zero weeds. Am very pleased with the service and highly recommend to anyone looking to get their lawn in shape. ~ Devendra L

Richard has been absolutely fantastic in helping me understand and care for my lawn and plants. He takes the time to walk you through his entire process, explaining everything clearly and sharing his extensive knowledge to ensure you're set up for success. His lawn treatment services are top notch. Since I started working with Richard, my lawn has looked better than ever. Overall, he's a great person to work with, and I would highly recommend him to anyone serious about investing in their lawn. ~ Jalan A

Richard is a consummate professional—prompt and thorough in communication, and takes pride in what he does. Our home neighbors community green space that doesn’t do weed control/maintenance, so it naturally creeped over to our yard. But having Richard attend to our lawn regularly kept it looking like one of the best ones in the neighborhood. I wish I could take Richard with me as I’m moving out of state. But short of that, I’d recommend him to anyone needing lawn care in the Austin area. ~ Yon S

We are so happy with Lawn Doctor services and Richard, the tech who does our lawn. He is extremely thorough, professional and friendly. He really cares about how the lawn looks. We have had many lawn services over the years of home ownership and this has been our best experience. Todd and Brittany are very responsive from the administrative side and Richard is the amazing. I would highly recommend. ~ Roni S

I have been using their services since I bought my house a year ago and the amount of knowledge that they have about lawn care is mind blowing. And the proof is in the pudding. My yard is the only one on my block that didn’t have one weed this year as the grass comes back from being dormant. If you want yard envy from your neighbors, definitely choose this service. ~ Nikki W

I have found the service to be excellent and my local Lawn Doctor team to be both friendly and professional. If I am home and available they always take the extra time to explain what is being done and relay any next steps (like watering). I also receive text messages for advance notice and any post treatment info. Best of all, my weeds and lawn are looking great! ~ Landon L

Want a golf course green beautiful lawn? Call Richard at Lawn Doctor. My yard was a disgrace in my neighborhood. Fortunately I don’t have an HOA because they probably would have evicted me. But… I found Richard at Lawn Doctor and now everyone on my block asks me how I did it. I told them to get the professional on it, Lawn Doctor, Richard. ~ Lisa C

Richard and Lawn Doctor is one of the most honest, reliable landscaping services I have ever used. He only recommends what will be beneficial to you and does not try to upsell you with every visit. He’ll tell you like it is and you can take his advice or not—but you’ll always wish you had! 5-star company! ~ Fernando R

Lawn Doctor literally resurrected what I thought was the most hopeless lawn of all. All the damage I had done to my lawn in a span of about 2 years — all because of my ignorance and neglect — Lawn Doctor turned around in less than 8 months. If you think your lawn is hopeless, give the Lawn Doctor a call. You will NOT regret it!!! ~ Danny M
